for you and your partner

Whether you're exploring BDSM, power exchange, role play, threesomes, sex parties, public play, swinging, or any erotic adventure that pushes your edges, the moment will come when somebody's system says nope. Not this, not now, not like that.

A freak-out is what happens in your body when something in a sexual experience shifts from hot to not-okay, the moment your nervous system says no in the middle of something you said yes to. It can happen fast to anyone.

This class is the plan for that moment.

THE SCENE
You're in it. Finally.

You said what you wanted. They said what they wanted. You negotiated a delicious scene.

The lights are low. You're breathing deep. Your chest is rising and falling. Your belly is relaxed. You are both fully present.

The energy is building. Your bodies are touching. You can feel their breath on your skin and the electricity jumping between you.

You are finally fulfilling your fantasy, and it's so fucking hot.

And then, almost out of nowhere, the temperature shifts.

Maybe it's a word or a tone of voice that lands somewhere it wasn't supposed to. Maybe it's a smell, a sensation, a hand on a part of you that was hot two minutes ago and now suddenly isn't. Maybe it's nothing you can name in the moment.

Maybe your partner's face changed. Their breathing went shallow. Their eyes went somewhere far away. They got quiet. Not the intimate kind of quiet. The gone kind.

The fire that was so hot moments ago now feels very cold.

So, now what do you do?

THE DOMINO EFFECT

Here's what we don't talk about enough:  Freak-outs seldom happen to just one person.

One of you gets nervous. The other one feels it. That amps up the first person's nervous system, which amps up the second person's. Somebody expresses it, verbally or with their body. One of you gets triggered, collapses or shuts down and disappears, and the other one doesn't know what to do with it.

This is where the scene falls apart completely.

And the silence after that moment is where many people decide, without ever saying it, to never try again.

That is the death of erotic momentum.

The breakdown is NOT the freak-out. It's not knowing what to do with it that causes problems in your erotic life.
WHEN HOT BECOMES OH SHIT

You and your partner did the homework. You had a great conversation to design this scene. You both enthusiastically consented.

People often assume "it’ll be fine."  It’s just a little spanking, dirty talk, public nudity, rope bondage, exhibitionism, partner swapping.  No big deal. We talked about it. It’ll be fine…

And then something gets activated in you or your partner. Sensations get too intense. Old stories show up. Protection kicks in.

If you don't have awareness of or a plan for that moment, you'll do what many people do: shut down, dissociate, pretend everything is fine, ignore what you’re feeling inside yourself or between you and your partner.

You might feel like you can’t speak up or slow down or stop and so you tolerate the sensations and all your feelings and when its over, you feel beat down or abused.

You might be so consumed with your personal joy of living this fabulous fantasy that you completely miss the energetic and emotional experience your partner is having.

All of that has a real cost.

The scene falls apart, which can be disappointing in the moment, and, overall, is ok.

Underneath the scene and the freakout, what falls apart could be your willingness to try again, the trust that you can hold each other through the rough parts, and the belief that your desires are welcome in this relationship.

Lose the scene, and you try again next weekend. Lose the belief that your desires are welcome here, and you stop trying.

WHAT THIS CLASS IS

What to Do When You or Your Partner Freaks Out: a 90-minute live class.

In this room, we're going to work with what actually comes up when you start exploring kink or erotic adventures with another person. Not the fantasy version, the real one, where bodies have weather and feelings show up in the blink of an eye.

What you'll walk out with:

➤  What a freak-out actually is, in the body, so you can recognize it.
Why your nervous system does what it does. Why it's not a problem. It's information.

➤  What to do and say when your partner freezes, floods, or shuts down. Not a script. A real response you can use when the moment is live, and your own nervous system is activated too.

➤  What to do when you're the one who freaks out. Because you will. We all do. What matters is you being prepared for what happens next.

➤  How to read the room before it escalates. The difference between nervous-and-needs-reassurance, uncomfortable-and-wants-to-slow-or-stop, and a trauma response that needs immediate care. These are not the same. They don't get the same response.

And the counterintuitive truth that changes everything: a freak-out handled well builds more trust than a smooth scene. More intimacy. More willingness to go further next time. The hard moment, held right, is the thing that deepens your relationship.

WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT YOURSELF BEFORE YOU PLAY

Handling a freak-out works better when you already know certain things about yourself.

Your hell yeses. Your no no no zone. Your maybe zone. The combinations that surprise you. Two words that are fine on their own but make your skin crawl when they're put together. An energy you love in one context and can't stand in another.

How you want to be spoken to. How you want to be referred to. How you want to be treated when things get intense. What calms you. What doesn't.

Some of you already have this information. Maybe you've done the work on your own. Maybe you've already gone through the Desires and Limits Inventory Guide. If so, bring what you discovered into this room.

If you don't have that information yet, this class will still meet you where you are. We'll work with what you know about yourself right now. And if you want the full tool for mapping your desires, limits, and everything in between, that's part of what you get inside the Get Kinky Live Course.

Whatever kind of sexual adventure you want to have, you NEED to know how to handle the moment when you meet or exceed an edge, especially your partner's. This sophisticated skill is what makes or breaks entire relationships.

WHO THIS IS FOR
You're someone who is already does some version of this: spanking, dirty talk, hinting at power exchange or role play.

You do it when you're super turned on, in the heat of the moment, but you don't talk about it clearly beforehand. This will move you from sneaky kinky to consciously, deeply kinky.

Or you're about to try something new – 3 somes, sex party play, BDSM – and you want to know what to do when it stops going according to plan, because it will, at least once.

Or you're the nervous partner. The one who said okay but hasn't stopped imagining the worst-case scenario. This class is specifically for you. Because the worst-case scenario has a plan, and once you have the plan, your fear can shift into anticipation and joy.

You want to be fully informed, fully empowered, and fully prepared so you can be fully turned on and present.

THE FULL Get Kinky ARCHITECTURE

This class teaches you what to do in the moment when things fall apart.

The Get Kinky Live 6-week Course teaches you the framework for all that leads up to your play and everything that comes after.

You'll get the Sexual Desires and Limits Inventory Guide, and we'll work through it together. You'll learn how to create a scene. How to negotiate the activities you want to do in a way that works for everybody. How to lead a scene and communicate in shorthand that feeds the scene. You get the freak-out plan, in full. And what happens in the days after a scene: aftercare, feedback, and the between-session care that makes it possible to go deeper next time.

In the course, we work through what you need to know to be truly successful at handling the freakouts. Except we do it together, over six weeks, with structure and support.

Six weeks. $500 solo, $750 per couple. Starts OCTOBER 14, 2026

If you want the whole architecture, not just the emergency skills, that's the room.

I’m Eva Blake.
Certified Sexological Bodyworker and Somatic Sex Educator. Twenty-plus years a kinky person. Not twenty years reading about it. Twenty years living it, negotiating it, repairing it, and teaching it.

I've been in the scene that fell apart. I've been the one who froze. I've been the one holding the person who froze. The thing I know, after all of it, is that the hard moment is not the end of the erotic connection. It's the beginning of a deeper one, if you know what to do with it.

My clients don’t just have better sex.
They become people who can stay present in their desire, speak it aloud, and receive what’s on the other side.

This is sacred work.
And it’s hot as hell.

Somebody is going to freak out. It might be you. It might be them. It might be both of you, in a cascade that happens faster than either of you expected.

That moment is not a failure. It's not a sign you shouldn't be doing this. It's not a reason to shut it all down and pretend you don't want what you want.

It's a moment that needs a plan. A response. A way through.

September 30.  $22.  90 minutes that change what's possible.
